At TMC Birmingham, our mission is to promote Islamic values, provide welfare services, and foster a sense of unity and belonging among the Tamil speaking Muslim community in the West Midlands borough of the United Kingdom.
There are more than 500 Tamil speaking Muslims residing in the West Midlands borough of United Kingdom. To promote, embrace and practice the religious activities and traditions of Tamil speaking Muslims a welfare association was established on 2012 named as Tamil Muslim Community (TMC).
The Tamil Muslim families currently live around Birmingham, Handsworth, Small heath, Sparkhill, West Bromwich and Coventry surroundings and this community is ever growing.
Alhamdullilah, since 2012 Tamil Muslim Community has been organising religious activities such as monthly lectures, one Ifthar gathering during Ramadhan and two Eid get together every year. All these activities have been conducted in rented premises and this has restricted our ability to expand current activities to the next stage.
As a community, our long-term goal is to establish and have our own Islamic Cultural Centre from where the Islamic religious practices, education and other welfare activities can be carried out for the betterment of the present community and the future generations.
Experience the warmth and support of the Tamil Muslim Community by joining TMC Birmingham. Together, we can make a difference.
